Privacy Notice
Last updated May 29, 2026
progy is self-hosted, source-available software, not a hosted service. Moontography LLC does not operate a public progy gateway and does not collect your prompts, keys, or balances - there is no public account to create. This notice covers the small amount of data the static progy.ai website touches, and explains why data handling for a progy instance is the responsibility of whoever runs it.
01 The website vs. the software
This notice covers only the static marketing website at progy.ai. The progy gateway is software you self-host: if you (or anyone else) run an instance, that instance is operated by whoever runs it, on their own infrastructure and their own provider keys. Moontography LLC does not operate it and does not receive its data. The operator of each instance is responsible for its own data handling and privacy practices.
Any instance Moontography itself runs is a private, single-tenant deployment for its own agents, not a service open to the public.
02 What the website does
The progy.ai site is static. It does not set tracking or advertising cookies, does not
ask you to sign in, and does not collect names, emails, or payment details. It does two
outbound things: it loads a web font from Google Fonts, and it pings a progy instance's
public /v1/health endpoint to show an "online/offline" status pill. Neither
is tied to an identity.
As with any website, the network infrastructure that delivers these pages (hosting and edge/transit providers) may briefly process connection metadata such as an IP address to route traffic. The static site itself does not log or retain that.
03 Data handling for a progy instance
progy forwards requests to third-party AI providers (such as Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and xAI) using the keys its operator configures, and by default does not persist prompt or response bodies - only token counts and metadata. But the concrete data practices of any given gateway are set by its operator, not by this notice. If you use a progy instance someone else runs, their privacy practices apply. If you run your own, those practices - and compliance with each provider's privacy terms - are yours; see OPERATING.md.
